On Wednesday, June 12th, Sadie’s mom, Joal and Jessica Dragan of Jessica’s Pet Massage, will be guest bartenders at Rustico Pizza located at 223 N. Water St. in Milwaukee, 53202.
The event will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 PM.
All tips generated AT THE BAR during the event will be donated to the Saving Sadie Fund. This includes cash tips and anything put on a credit card.
Note: Dogs are not allowed at Rustico, except service dogs. Sadie will not be in attendance at this event. Stay tuned for future meet and greets.
We hope you can stop by, enjoy some fine dining, drinks and fun in support to help Sadie to walk again!
Read about Sadie, a dog left for dead in the mountains of Kentucky who was rescued and rehabilitated by a Muskego woman and a crew of dedicated animal lovers in the April 18th edition of the Wisconsin Gazette.
Here is Sadie exercising with her Air Splints, which are like very large Water Wings for children.
Sadie is receiving Air Splint therapy 2-3 times per day for 20 minutes each time. Air Splints are like giant water wings for children, but the air splints go from Sadie’s ankles to the tops of her legs. This exercise requires 2 people: one to stabilize Sadie in the back and one person in the front to tempt Sadie with either frozen peanut butter on a large spoon or, Sadie’s favorite……..cat food.
Most times, it is a combo platter, alternating between each of these delights. This exercise is WORKING!
Sadie’s quads and hams are getting larger and the muscles are getting bigger!! After this excercise, Sadie either goes on the Power Plate, which is a machine used by top athletes and Russian Cosmonauts to increase endurance, muscle mass and regenerate bone.
After the Power Plate, Sadie relaxes by going into the Soqi HotHouse Machine which has Far Infared Rays (FIR). This machine stimulates blood circulation, accelerating the metabolic exchange between the body and blood vessels to relieve pain and is good for the healing process.

Sadie’s Rebirthday/Silent Auction/Fundraiser Party – Saturday, April 20th from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Help us all celebrate Sadie’s new life! The event will be held at the Lincoln Warehouse (please note venue changed from Amtrak), which is located at 2018 South First Street, on the corner of First and Beecher Streets, directly across from the Horny Goat Brewery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. There is ample, free parking on site.
