Welcome June! Welcome Summer!
My mom said that she has to apologize to all of you for not getting an update out sooner, but so much has been going on with me, that she had to put all of her energies into getting my legs stronger.
Here is the latest scoop…
We are always tweaking my routine and I LIKE that! There’s never a dull moment. I have new tools to help me to strengthen my hamstrings and quads including, air splints, which are like giant water wings for kids, a hot house, which has Far Infared Rays for healing, and new vitamins and herbs. Please see some photos below for a description of how some of these things are working. All of these new therapies are working. My hamstrings are MUCH BIGGER and we will just keep on working on them!
My “Re-birthday party” this past April was a huge success and there were so many, many kind people there to help my mom with everything! Did you see all of my billboards across the Milwaukee area? Thanks again to Stan Kass for that donation.
Cake by The Lovin’ Oven Pet Bakery.
I am visiting our local area Pet World‘s on a regular basis, usually on a Saturday, for Meet and Greet’s. Keep watching my website for updates with the date, location and time and stop by and say “Hi”.
The next event is on Wednesday, June 12, from 6-9 where my mom and Jessica from Jessica’s Pet Message will be celebrity bartenders at Rustico on Water Street in Milwaukee. All tips generated at the bar, either cash or credit card, will be donated to ME! Stop by and say HI to my mom and everyone else. My mom said that I have to stay home because I am not allowed at this event, even though I don’t consider myself to be a dog because I go everywhere! I have the best opportunities a pooch could ever have!! Watch for my new billboard on I-94 in Milwaukee!
Now, it’s favor time…….from now until July 1st, I would like each and every one of you to visualize my legs getting stronger each day. Put it on your calendar and please think of me daily. Just your thoughts in giving me a “that a girl” would really be helpful. There is power in numbers and I need your positive thoughts! Keep the mantra going strong. GO, SADIE!
Thank you for all of your support. Everything you do helps Sadie to walk again!
This is my new Hot House with Far Infared Rays for healing. Thank you Dr. Grace Melby for the free rental and to Mr. Stan Kass for purchasing it for me!
My new air splints are like water wings for kids. With them, I can stand just like a normal dog! One person supports the back of me and the “Food Temptor” is in the front of me with both cat food and peanut butter on a giant spoon. I lean forward to strengthen my quads and hamstrings. My mom tries to exercise me with these three times per day for twenty minutes each time. After I am finished, it is onto the power plate for five minutes. I know that it is all helping me!
